Day 348
I set off at 7.45, hoping that there will be accomodation at Cargo, about 55 rather hillier kilometres away. I have head winds, and several punctures caused by the dreaded organic drawing pins (bindis) - I find I cannot take my bike off the road or the tyres will be spiked. At last however, I see how to sketch hills! - and catch the patchwork feel of fields. :)

Love that panoramic wide brown landscape. So how DID you manage your puncture? Turn the bike upside down?
I love this whole series about your exciting trip. I can't believe you went solo. These sketches will make a wonderful memory.
Those undulating hills are so good – and so daunting
No, I didn't turn my bike upside down, Hashi, because then the panniers would have fallen off and I hate putting them on - I just had to take the wheel off right by the road and then find a safe spot to do the repair.
