Day 302
Off on my bike again - I really didn't feel like it but once I was wizzing down the hill towards the lake, I was glad I'd made the effort. I cycled to the art school library and stopped to watch the nearby building workers - this guy was operating a lift and most of the time seemed away in a dream. I think he'll be in trouble for wearing the wrong hat. 12 km cycle

Is this done in pastel Alison? I really like it, you have caught the in a daze feel well.I am very envious of yor faces you do them so well. No rain here, hot and dry although cool last night, had to have a blanket! I will be glad when we stop daylight saving, it is quite dark when we get up now.
Where's his hard hat? Nice drawing. You stopped to watch the guys working? Usually the guys stop work to watch the girls go by!
What's the art school like in Canberra? A Geelong girl did a glass course there.

Alison, I have just seen the news, did you get all that hail? Looked awesome. Hope all is ok.
Oh, thanks for your concern Penny - no damage for us, not even my studio flooded - but if this pattern of less reliable but more severe weather continues we will have to beef up our water security. We live on a hill so won't be really flooded but some parts of our property are vulnerable to temporary water seepage. - More expense and trouble!
Oh I missed this one somehow. I do like it and the pastel drawing above. They both have a lovely stylised quality.
