Day 281"I want to go for a swim too." I did the usual cycle round the lake - early to avoid the heat - and spotted this retriever tied to a 'no dogs' sign, waiting while his owner had a swim. I think Blogger is trying to make me update too. I refused, so I wasn't allowed to post but now it seems I can. I will have to back up my blog(s) before I do but am too busy now - doing a 5 year backlog of cleaning as my rather more house-proud English aunt and uncle are coming to stay. :) 17 km cycle

Five years of cleaning - wow, sounds like my kind of house. Don't stress though, just enjoy the quirkiness of aunts testing for dust etc. I don't mind dust but I cannot stand people leaving any food/drinks/cans around.

We might get to Canberra in a couple of weeks - if we go to Bateman's Bay around the coast (for a wedding) and then via Canberra on the way home.
Nice dog, dont think my house can last 5 years,I have been upgraded for a while, no noticible change except signing in with google.
Just to reassure you the upgrade was easy. I didn't change the template (as I have far too many personalisations on it) so I can't take advantage of some of the new features. My only problem was that it changed some of the special characters in the sidebar - typographers quotes and long dashes - into different special characters, so I had to change those back. Sweet little dog
