Day 278
This is the track to Hermione's bench. It was dark this evening when I passed by after cycling round the lake but there was an enormous blush of a cloud. 17 km cycle

Through this blog, I am joining Julie Oakley and others around the world, in a daily excursion, by foot or bike, stopping along the way to do a sketch.

As I just commented on Julie's blog, I love disappearing pathways!
The strong yellow gives it an ambiguous look - could be sunset, fire, an apocalypse! Sorry, still a useful addition to your ever-growing file of interesting drawings/paintings.

Poor you with the scanner. I did buy a relatively expensive one a few years back. (An Epson 4870 which I'm sure that now you could pick up for peanuts) I've just looked at the settings and I don't even use it to its full potential - I've been scanning at 24 bit when it can scan 48 bit (but then all the pictures would be twice the size). Sometimes a basic scanner can be just perfect but then when it isn't perfect it can be difficult to tweak perfection back in!
What a lovely sight - and description the blush of cloud.
Lovely Alison, I also love the expression, blush of cloud.
The way you've captured the light and time of the day is perfect!
