Day 275I cycled round the lake this morning and whilst head down climbing a hill and listening to a new chinese lesson, I glanced up, and for a brief moment thought I saw two dinosaurs rushing at me. In fact, they were enormous ride-on-lawnmowers! By this evening, still lacking a drawing, I was going to sketch them but then the night was so lovely and cool that I went for another ride and sketched the beautiful moon instead. 27 km cycle

You have really caught the clouds and moon beautifully. I saw it last night, full tonight I think, just as it was huge and going down at about 3 am in one of my try to get rid of cramp in the leg wanders.
This is lovely and soft - I was thinking about you and Penny as I saw the moon half covered with clouds through the trees in the Bluebell wood, I thought it would make a good subject, but I'd already done my watercolour
Soft but mysterious. I must get outside more at night and have a look at the sky.
