Yet another ride around the lake. There was a brisk wind and the windsurfers, who lauch from the Point between Hermione's bench and her Island, were scudding along - a para-sailor too.
And here is the best photo from our recent trip to Sydney - Reflection
17 km cycle

Love this - great sense of movement.
Wind is certainly evident in the picture.
By the way who is Hermione? Is there a story there?
The photo from Sydney is great. I always stare up at buildings where there are crazy reflections and wish I had a camera with me.

Wendy, Hermione was our profoundly handicapped daughter who mercifully died aged just three. My parents paid for a bench to be placed by the Lake opposite the island where we buried her ashes. I often walk the 7km return to her bench. See my Scribbles blog, March 1 for her funeral story, and 10 June on this blog for her birthday celebration.
Lovely action shot, and the photo was incredible. You are walking and cycling so much, I feel a wimp at the moment as my walks have been very short and scrappy.
Wonderful watercolor--definitely looks like they're flying and the winds blowing.
Great photo Alison - you should see what you can make of that.
And having tried to do sketches of kite surfers I think you've done a jolly good job with these windsurfers - it's so difficult!
So sad about Hermione - I didn't know.
