Day 174Just another wander around Yarralumla. These birds are (meant to be) crimson rosellas, another of our common parrots. The lavender is wonderful at the moment and there are so many varieties these days. 5 km walk

It is so funny to see parrots in your drawings, as common birds.
It must be wonderful having such a wonderful variety of brightly colored birds in your neighborhood instead of nothing but little brown ones like we have. Nice drawing and watercolor and such fun to see life on the other side of the world.
I suppose I hadnt realised that what we take for granted others find so interesting, awful things to draw parrots love the lavender.
