Day 130
Pretty much a full moon tonight. I set off for a walk at 8.30pm in freezing cold and wind. I saw quite a few sketching possibilities but when I turned a corner and 'saw' the turqoise in this tree, the other ideas evaporated away. It seemed just magical. I wish I could depict the velvetiness of the night sky. 5 km walk

    Thanks, I wasn't sure if that was the way the tree actually looked or if you painted it that way to contrast aginst the sky. I can see why you were captivated with it. Haven't figured out how to deplict a velvety sky, myself, yet.

    I am always inspired by the stuff you find to draw even at night.Was it a lemon scented gum? Mine can look like that. Wet here again.
