Day 123I cycled around the Lake to the Botanic Gardens, hoping to see a fantastic spring blooming but it is a little early though of course there are some flowers. After wandering for a while, I chose this simple little grevillea because there was a convenient bench in the shade just opposite and I wanted to try sketching some rocks too. Each little flower blob is about 1cm long

I like this one Alison, I like the contrast of the rock and the flowers. Yes I have booked in to do Glen Skein's class at Horsham, making personal shrines, boxes, things like that. I think I will have fun, my friend Wendy who is going with me this year is doing Kate Green which will be right up her alley.
Lovely and interesting. I really like the colors--they're warm and inviting.
