Day 2There is a lot of redevelopment going on in my suburb. Much of it is very mundane or ridiculously over the top. I really like this house - its design is inspired by the traditional Australian bush cottage with tin roof and wrap-around verandah, brought into the contemporary with curves and colour.

Those tin rooves, takes me back to the noise of the rain when I was a child in Fiji
Great picture. Yes this is quaint, traditional and effective. Like driving on the left. So I have to question why K's not miles? Either way more power to you for doing it!
We haven't had miles in Australia since the early 60's, I think, certainly not since 1969 when I emigrated here.
