Day 255The hottest day of summer so far - 38 degrees C (100.4 F) so I cycled early to the library to sketch in the comfort of air conditioning. But I got waylaid by browsing and reading and then had to cycle home in the heat. However, by closing all the windows and curtains first thing in the morning, we can keep a 10 degree difference between inside and out, so it's not too bad at home.

These are such good drawings. The heat sounds unbearable.
Our heat has been aful but cooler now, just sticky which in some ways is worse. Not nice cycling in that heat.Awful fires in the Adelaide hills two days ago, no people killed but valuable stock and sheds and one house, they were lucky but it started so late and just went.
