Day218
I put off exercising today - didn't feel like it - but set out at 8.45pm with just my little sketchbook and a 2B pencil. There was a full moon, a cool breeze and just me - lovely. I couldn't really see what I was drawing but it'll do. I did see some great 'through the front door' subjects, as people are now leaving their front doors open to cool the house down - ideas for another day.
And my old classmate in Chinese language, who wore shorts and sandals all year round, was today elected leader of the opposition. 6km return to Hermione's bench

This project makes me the proud possessor of the kind of general knowledge that I'd never know normally. Does he have a chance of being PM - will you be able to say you learnt Chinese with the PM? Lovely soft drawing - I can feel the breeze.

Delightful view and shapes.
Hey, your classmate - I like him! An intellectual. The future PM. Hey, perhaps you're married to one of the 'other' guys so I shouldn't presume about your political view! You're not really 'Janet' are you?

Great sketch, I am going to watch your old class mate with interest, problem is intellectuals dont always make the best politicians, I know they should, but we will see.(coming from a university family, my father was a prof,I have some idea!)
I do wish I lived near easy walking, the evening is definetly the best time at the moment but I would probably fall over!We had a great moon last night.

I love this view of graceful trees arching over the street. Your composition and shading is wonderful.
