Day 240
Boxing Day sales - the shoe department was the busiest part of David Jones department store. I was in the way wherever I stood and other people were in my way all the time - but it was a fun place to sketch. 12 km cycle

I love the way the squiggly lines suggest frenetic movement, and that you just coloured the odd shoe. The mall is a place I'll be avoiding today.

I love the way you colored just the shoes, it works very will. Great drawing! As for your thistles from yesterday, we have them also. they are pretty though.

Oh Alison what a great fealing of frenzy! We are not allowed to have boxing day sales as it is proclomation day here and everyone has to wait until today. Not going anyway, no money left!

Just colouring in a few shoes does the trick for this super drawing. People are quite mad, they've spent up for Christmas but they cannot resist the sales!
On radio this morning I heard that many people are selling their 'presents' on ebay - the ones they didn't need/like/want. They reckon nearly 2 million gifts are on offer!

I do love this. One of my student jobs was working in the largest shoe shop in Oxford Street over Christmas and the New Year sales, so this has a special meaning for me.

He He! I love this. I know that feeling too - fighting over cut price shoes! I love the little bits of colours you added, just great. Did you buy anything?
