Day 238
Mince pies missing out on the festivities - left in the bakery window over Christmas! What ignominy! I went for a lovely ride along a newly discovered bike path that leads from the Lake up to Parliament House. On the return, I passed the local shops and spotted these poor pies. 10km cycle Happy Christmas, everyone.

Merry Christmas, dear Alison. I hope you and your family have a wonderful day. I wish I were there in Canberra myself. I hope we get to see each other again in 2007.

I hope you had a lovely Christmas Day Alison and have a good holiday this week. We had a pleasant day - didn't plan where we'd have dinner and we ended up with friends in the Werribee area and it hailed!
We don't eat mince pies - for some reason Peceli doesn't like dried fruit - though over the years he has quietly eaten a bit of Christmas cake etc. but with a pained expression on his face!

How wonderfully sweet and quirky to feel regrets for the poor pies missing out on all the fun. I like the drawing too. I've been wanting to do some storefront drawings. Maybe today would be a good day, what with everything closed and lots of parking available.

This is a great drawing - the perspective is spot on and it's so nice to have such a seasonal picture
