Day 235
I walked around the suburb and back past the shops this evening. I was amused at the way this fellow was swinging the carrycot around as if it were a sports bag. Perhaps it's taking him a while to realize he's a new Dad. 3 km walk

I like the perspective – as though you're slightly above him. I remember the surprise with our first, when we were turned away from meeting our friends for lunch in a wine bar because the little being in the carry cot was below the legal drinking age!

Nice observation.
There is so much paraphernalia these days for carrying babies. This one though looks nice and simple and the kid gets a nice rock and roll going!
In my time, the housegirl carried the kid in a sling on her back or front - just a colourful floral sulu. I never had a pram either.
But from what I observe here in Geelong it must cost thousands to gather all the 'necessities' and Royal style carriages for a little babe.

Cute drawing and keen observations. I've noticed dads doing that sort of thing before and it's scary. I used to be nervous about leaving my babies home alone with their dad though nothing every happened.
