Day 219
I cycled to the library this morning but had no time to stop and draw so when I went 'on a squirkle' with Mum at 4 o'clock, I took my little sketchbook - hoping to find a subject and a moment. Mum was delighted to pose while she had a rest. 12 km cycle

Aw this picture is lovely - very cute indeed! But tell me, what is 'a squirkle'???

Did Mum forget to put on her skirt or does she usually wear a minidress? Thanks for the pic.

We all want to know! A very warm, affectionate looking picture. Though I think that drawing people is so difficult that anyone who hasn't done it wouldn't appreciate that getting some kind of likeness is such a challenge that to get the right mood or feel is an added extra that we don't necessarily have a great deal of control over.

I agree what is a??
I would love to sketch my mother but she would argue that what I was doing wasnt her, she used to paint really well, so not much good. I see her tomorrow.
A lovely sketch with a lot of love about it.
