Day 150
Still not half way through this challenge! I cycled to Manuka to get money from the bank and then sat down to sketch this old fellow. I seem to have forgotten to draw the legs of the bench - it must have had some. 6 km cycle

Still not half way but you have spring and summer to do the rest in. Lovely delicate drawing with great perspective.

It has been a busy hectic week and I have missed checking in on your blog daily. So funny to hear your talk of the coming spring as we move toward fall, makes the world seem a smaller more friendly place.

I love the floating bench, the legs weren't important, the gentelman sitting there was and he is done very nicely!

Nice drawing.
Must be the hot air in Canberra that's given him lift-off!

Legless or not, it's a cool picture.

Nice picture Alison, love the way he is holding it up with his own legs. I am not sure what we are doing in Jae Maries class, called Contrasting elements and the requirement list has paints, paper, fabric paints, every fabric from silk to cotton and more, string, threads. I am assuming we are looking at contrasts between colours and textures.

I never would have noticed the missing legs had you not said so. You captured so much in your drawing of the old man--his slightly hunched posture and the seeming care with which he is setting out his things around him.
