Day 139
We did loads of walking, first to the Art Gallery in the city where we saw an enormous exhibition about the relationship between Picasso and Dora of the Weeping Woman. Then we walked into town to see The Inconvenient Truth - OK but no more informative than a New Scientist article. After the film we went home for a pizza dinner and then I wandered out to find a drawing and saw this man all in black who looked like Elvis Presley.

We went to the movies last night - and saw Jindabyne which was great - interesting characters, story-line, landscape and direction. P said there should have been more action! Strange abrupt ending.
I went to Jindabyne when it was covered in snow - well I think so - it was an art students trip many years ago.
We could have seen the documentary you speak of but didn't want more anxiety - we have had car trouble and that's enough for the moment.

Hi Alison, Sounds like you had a great time in Melbourne. I went there as the Picasso exhibition opened. We spent 5 hours - isn't it huge!! Could have spent longer. His work is so diverse. I really loved his preliminary sketchbooks.
