Day 128
I walked to Mum's and back and twice to the shops but had no time to draw. I've been a mother for twentyone years - it has gone fast - just yesterday - buckets of nappies...soon Finnian's leaving home so she was given kitchen stuff for her birthday. She already has a fine collection of workshop tools. Granny and Grandpa came for dinner and we had trifle instead of cake. She's going to have a combined housewarming/21st party in her new home!

What a wonderful idea for a birthday present. Lovely drawing – and I love the idea of celebrating the years that you've been a mother at the same time as Finnian's birthday.

The years go by so incredibly fast, don't they? Love the drawing of the kitcheny stuff. It is so wonderful that the whole family is involved!

Congratulations! Thanks for idea to celebrate the years of being a mom. I just hit 31! Nice drawing of the gift items too.

I just celebrated the same thing last week! We had a similar sounding celebration at home, and then the next weekend she had her own at her place (she lives in Sydney). My husband and I celebrated again at the same time as her party. She asked me why we were celebrating!!!
