Day 109
I was sure I wouldn't see anything to draw this evening but all of a sudden there was this little picture on the ground in front of me - quickly sketch the outlines and away home to shade it, sitting by the fire. That's how I do all these night ones so I actually spend only a few minutes drawing outside in the dark and cold - and it doesn't reach the coldest temperatures until the early hours of the morning anyway. 5 km

Right, now I know what to do when the cold arrives! By the way I think your use of pencil with the little black book works very well.

Yes, Julie, I'm really enjoying the simplicity of pencil, the fact that it works OK in the moleskine and it is good for giving night impressions.

Thanks for explaining your process. I wondered about you sitting out their in your jammies freezing while you drew. That's good training for the memory too. I like the shapes of these and the way you composed the drawing.
